APRIL MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle!
In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd) we would like you to recycle, reuse or repurpose 3 items on your project. For example, cut a shape from junk mail found in your trash can. Reuse something found in a junk drawer, or whatever! Use your creativity! Create a layout, card, altered project, etc. The choice is yours! This month entrants will be playing for their chance to win a Cricut Mini Cake Machine, Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art Cartridge, AND $50 worth of credit to Cricut.com.Again, so happy these are random winners so that I might have a chance.
I found some cardstock (the light blue) laying on top of the craftroom garbage can (so no yuckies in there it's all paper), I used some newspaper from today's paper (adhered to the dark blue cardstock before cutting) and re-purposed an old button off of one of Craig's shirt that is headed to the flannel graveyard.
I used 3 different flowers from the new Mother's Day Seasonal (Thank you again Allison)
I also used the ribbon threading punch and a small piece of white ribbon I had laying around so that I could fit this into Doxie's Sunday challenge too.
And in order to be able to put it in Allison's Weekend Challenge I had to use one color (and I could also use black or white) so I went with the blues, so I had to spritz my flowers with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
Not sure where the stamp came from. The whole card took about 10 minutes. You say WHAT??????????? 10 minutes for that silly thing, well let me tell you that about 7 of those minutes were spent sniffing the Staz-on ink, man I love that smell.

You are welcome!! See I knew it was going to a good home!
OK - this was clever. I just commented on the Sunday challenge thread, not realizing that it was also your April blog challenge entry. The print is even more impressive now!! Super idea.
I love the flowers Dawn!
Ooo, I love how you have the ribbon down the side! Great entry!
The ribbon down the side was a complete, UH OH, the boys distracted me in between applying the ATG tape and actually sticking it down and when I came back to stick it down, SOMEONE had turned the card and I didn't look, so I just went with it and tried to make it work LOL
great card! 10 minutes - this would have taken me so much longer!!
I love the color and flowers on your card.
